Description
Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the bookCollecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
This knife is tang stamped KEYSTONE KNIFE CO on both blades.
This is a brand that I am not familiar with (I have seen Keystone Cutlery, but not Keystone Knife).
The overall construction and appearance, bone, jigging, etc. are similar to the early Pennsylvania firms, 1880’s to 1910’s.
“Premium Jack Knife” pattern, 4” closed.
Nickel silver bolsters, brass pins, and brass liners.
The clip blade has strong snap, no wobble.
The pen blade has no snap due to a worn tang.
Jigged brown bone handles, nice older style jigging.
Old style hand-peened handle pins.
The handles have minor pocket wear, no cracks or damage.
Used, carried, and sharpened.
Each bade has some sharpening loss, scratches, patina.
Nice old rare brand, great knife to clean up!
The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
All knives will be shipped promptly to you in a sturdy corrugated box.
Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
See my other listings for more collectible knives.
Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle.
