Rodgers Wostenholm , Richards Sheffield Knife Co's 1980 Official Inventory

Here we have a very rare piece of Sheffield cutlery ephemera. This is an official valuation of the inventories of Rodgers Wostenholm and Richards Sheffield Cutlery works of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. It's a huge volume of over 250 pages and covers everything from every piece of machinery, tools, knife parts, tooling, fixtures, tables, office furniture, etc.. There are a number of property maps as well. It's all hardbound in a book measuring 13" X 9" X 2"thick. It was found amongst the files of the old Schrade plant in Ellenville after they shut down in 2004 and was probably an inventory that was done around the time of the sale of those businesses to Imperial Schrade. The entire volume is in great condition with the exception of one missing screw head that attaches one end of the binding bolt. That area is still bound together by the wire from the official seal so it won't fall apart regardless.
This is a one of a kind find that would be a great addition to a collection from either of those companies.
