    Description

    Rarer RED Vintage at least 1980’s LION Lucite Handle Stainless Steel Folding Knife Made In Japan. 5" closed and a solid 9.5" open. I remember getting mine in black when I was 12 and that was early 1982 under great destress from my grandmother. Never saw options on this! Enjoy this throwback to young cool. This knife has some surface issues as seen in pics but still looks good. Lucite has some surface issues being cracks on the word LION side but nothing you can feel to the touch. Not sure how lucite cleans up. Never tried. Lock blade doesn't bite and edge is sharp enough which I think it is still factory edge so it can be sharpened a few times still if desired without showing wear. Blade has one bump on it as seeing pic. I could have smoothed it out but I'll leave that pleasure of that and the bond doing so with the knife to you. Blade guards still hug the knife that is at least 40 years old but they are still intact. Enjoy this knife either as carry or case, shelf. Everything is China now. Now I appreciate the Japan blades as I am older now. Japan has amazing blade history historically through time.
